Ruth "Eileen" Borden

     Ruth “Eileen” Borden, 90, Nevada, MO passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Medicalodges of Nevada.  Eileen was born July 14, 1928 in Milford, MO to Thomas Leroy and Mary Leotta (Faubion) Borden.

      Eileen lived in Sheldon for nearly all her life, graduating from Sheldon High School in 1946. She was an active member of the Christian Church of Sheldon, where she taught Sunday School for many years.  Eileen loved gardening and sewing.  She made clothes for Silver Dollar City’s dolls.

     Eileen is survived by her sister Norma Jean Lee and her husband Gaylord of Independence, MO; and by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

        Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at St. James Cemetery in Milford, MO with Pastor Shane McCaslin officiating.  

     Memorials are suggested to the Christian Church of Sheldon c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
