Ruth Mishe

     Ruth Mische, age 94, of Nevada, MO passed away on Tuesday morning, April 27, 2021 at The Groves in Independence, MO. She was born November 20, 1926 in Vernon County, the daughter of the late Dan and May Emory Mische.

     Ruth was a member of Nevada Church of the Nazarene and spent countless hours working in and for the church.  There are young adults who remember her fondly for her devotion to them, taking them to church and caring about them. She had a host of dogs, all well fed and adored and supported. Ruth was a proud supporter of Seeing Eye, the Humane Society, and the Nature Conservancy.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Tyler Allen officiating.  Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 12:30 -1:30 prior to the service at the funeral home.
