Scott Allan Garner

     Scott Allan Garner, 61, Nevada, MO passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Butler Center in Butler, MO. Scott was born June 3, 1961 in Wellington, KS to David H. and Vera Mae (Ditto) Garner.

     Scott grew up in Coffeyville, KS and attended school there and in Sheldon, MO. He enjoyed outdoor activities, and especially loved spending time with his family. An avid fisherman, Scott was a member of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society.

     Survivors include three children, Athena Stamper, Coffeyville, KS, Albert Garner (Christina), Nevada, and Sharron Miller, Lamar; eight grandchildren, Quinton, Wesley, Haden, Alexander, Charles, Gunner, Katie, and Arthur; his father, David Garner, Houston, TX; two sisters, Dalynn Fowler (Larry), Nevada, and Tonya Humphries (Gary), Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

     Memorials are suggested in his name to the Salvation Army c/o Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
