Maxon Scott Senkevech, 52, Deerfield, MO, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. Scott was born May 22, 1973, in Nevada to Maxon Ray and Judith (Shields) Senkevech. He married Angela Dawn Senkevech in June of 2017, and she survives.
Scott was raised in Deerfield and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1991. Throughout his life, Scott farmed and raised cattle with his dad and brother. In addition, he was a heavy equipment operator and ran an excavator for T.J. Farrell. Scott enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, and mushrooms.
In addition to Angie, he is survived by his children, Jordawn Leer (Payton), Bronaugh, and Kori Davis (Lauren), Nevada; four grandchildren, Greyson, Kyler, Tayten, and Scottie; one brother, Justin Senkevech (Bridgett), Bronaugh; and two nieces, Icysis, and Laken. Also surviving is Tom and Connie Leatherman, Deerfield, and J.R. Cooper, Richards. He is preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Tom Senkevech; and a sister, Raeann Cannifax.
Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Barton County with Pastor Roger Beach officiating.
Memorials are suggested in his name to Vernon County Cancer Relief c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
