Scott A. Zachary

     Scott Anthony Zachary, age 54, of Nevada, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

     Scott was born December 30, 1970, in San Jose, CA to James Doyle and Maxine (Hubbard) Zachary. In 1979 they moved to Nevada, MO, where he graduated high school in 1989. In 1996 he married Kathryn Watts in Eureka Springs, AR, and together they had two children and later divorced.  In 2015 he married Dawn Wallace, in Bella Vista, AR.  He enjoyed a long day spent golfing or fishing, and loved to cook. Scott was proud of his high school sports career and friends that he shared those times with, and was always a huge supporter of Nevada High School Athletics, and he was so proud of his children and their accomplishments in life.

     Scott is survived by his children, Alysha Zachary and her partner, Jake Reeder, Surprise, AZ, Kaeth (Bradly) Woods, Nevada, MO and Steven Zachary, Nevada, MO; a brother, Jim Zachary, St. Louis, MO; a sister, Julie (Billy) Starry, Corpus Christi, TX; his former wife, Kathryn Zachary, Nevada, MO, and partner Dawn Zachary, Nevada, MO; his step father, Gerald (Marilyn) Stark, Nevada, MO, grandchildren, Paislee and Colten Reeder and a large extended family.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Zachary and mother Maxine Stark.

       A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Pentecostal Assembly Church in Nevada with Pastor Dennis Engelbrecht officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00- 6:00 pm prior to the Celebration of Life.
