Shirley Ann Studer, 84, formerly of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Eagle Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Shirley was born on August 14, 1939 in Hereford, TX to Henry and Billie Stalcup. She graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart, W. L. Studer, in 1958. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2019.
Following their marriage, they moved to Amarillo, TX and raised four children. Shirley was a homemaker for many years. Later, after her children were school age, she worked in the school cafeteria where she provided home cooked meals for the students. She was very active in the community and church. She loved her family very much.
She also loved to bake for her family. Everything from homemade bread to chocolate chip cookies. She loved to host church parties and to play Skipbo.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, W.L., her mother, father, sister, and one niece. She is survived by her four children, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:00p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery, El Dorado Springs, MO, with Jared Mays officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
