Our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, Shirley Ann Wymore, 81 of Nevada, MO passed away on November 15, 2021. She was born on July 9, 1940, in Wagner, South Dakota to Benjamin and Hazel Weddell. It was there she met the father of their five children, Albert Leo Carpenter, who preceded her in death on July 31, 1978. She then married Larry Wymore and they had 30 years together before his passing on July 3, 2008.
Mom was an amazing cook, she had quite a green thumb, and she enjoyed her trips to the casino with her son (Sonny). She worked hard all her life, and what a sense of humor she had, and was full of spirit. She had a passion for giving and helping others. Mom was always willing to listen and give guidance to anyone that needed her. But most important were the loves of her life, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by “Jewel”, her son, Benjamin “Sonny” Leo Carpenter, her parents, three brothers, and two sisters. Those left to carry on her passion for life are four daughters, Beverly and children, Leo Dustin and Kimberly; Norma (Dennis) and her children, Kandice and Lindsay; Frances and her children, Josh, Benny, Taylor, Jodi, and Dakota; Sandy (Rick) and son, Matt; and Sonny’s children, Justin, Melony, and Valery, and their mother, Christina.
