Susan Dale (Couch) Versluis

      Susan Dale Couch 53 of Gerald, MO formerly of Bronaugh, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 peacefully in her sleep at her home following a period of ill health.

      Susan was born March 24, 1966 in El Dorado Springs, MO, the daughter of David Neil and Connie Sue (Miller) Couch. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1984 and later achieved a Masters of Psychology from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. Susan worked in various Human Resource Departments for manufacturing firms. She was an avid Kansas City Chief’s Fan, enjoyed riding motorcycles with her partner Clint, gardening, and shopping, especially for shoes. Susan’s other partner was a miniature schnauzer named “Elphie” who loved to watch TV with her. Susan will be remembered by her family as one who enjoyed life to the fullest and always wore her smile.

      Susan is survived by her partner Clint Bollinger of the home; daughter, Dr. Ashton Chapman and husband, Darren of K.C., MO;  father David Couch , Bronaugh; brothers, Gregg Couch and wife Kim, Bronaugh and Corey Couch, Bronaugh, nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends. Susan was preceded in death by her mother Connie.

     Memorial services will be at a later time in the Worsley Cemetery.

     Memorials may be made to Worsley Cemetery in care of the Ferry Funeral Home.
