Thomas Taylor

         Thomas Eugene Taylor, 70, Sheldon, MO, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at his home in rural Sheldon.  He was born Jan. 12, 1954 in El Dorado, KS, to Chrisie Thomas Taylor and Wiletta (Starnes) Taylor.  He was married to Gerry L. Cole on February 28, 1977 in Miami, OK.  She survives of the home.

     Tommy grew up in Cassville, MO and attended school there.  He worked for F-Co Window Manufacturing in Monett for 24 years.  He has lived in Cedar and Vernon County for the past 30 years.  Tommy enjoyed fishing, camping, watching movies on TV, and being with his family.

    In addition to his wife, Gerry, he is survived by his children, Durran Taylor, Sheldon, MO, Travis Taylor,Sheldon, MO, Jeramiah Taylor (Terry), Rolla, MO; step-daughter, Misty Mullins, Branson, MO; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Dotson, Cassville, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Daren, four brothers, Leon, Billy, Kenneth, and Kevin, and a sister, Sue Bickford.

     Visitation will be 4:00-6:00p.m. Monday, June 24, 2024, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, MO.    Graveside services will be at 1:00p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, MO.
