William Edwards Wehmeyer

     William Edward Wehmeyer, 67, Sheldon, MO passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. Bill was born February 7, 1953 in Nevada, MO to Samuel and Betty E. (Garfield) Wehmeyer. He married Tammy M. Hand on on November 11, 1994 in Nevada and she survives of the home.

         Bill grew up in Nevada and Walker attending school in Walker. He worked on the Vernon County Road and Bridge crew for over 10 years, drove a school bus for the Nevada School District and the Walker School District, and for the past 20 years was a truck driver. Bill loved camping, fishing, hunting, boating, and especially being with his family.

     In addition to his wife Tammy he is survived by, two children, Melessa West (John), Lamar, and Johnathan Baker (Kamey), Boston, MO; one brother, Gary Wehmeyer (Saundra), Nevada; two sisters, Linda Wooten (Terry), Kansas City, MO, and Eva Fritts (Harold), Walker, MO; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Danny Wehmeyer, Terry Wehmeyer, and Randy Wehmeyer.  

     No services are planned.
