William "Billy" Harreld Obituary

     William Darold “Billy” Harreld, 63, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Cox South in Springfield, MO. Billy was born November 28, 1956 in California to James D.H. and Lorine (Stewart) Harreld. He was united in marriage to Linda Charlene Vincent and she survives of the home.

     Billy graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1975. Following high school, he worked in agricultural related jobs including Garton Dairy for a number of years, Scott and Belinda Kennedy Agri-Center, and Midwest Fertilizer in Sheldon. His passion in life was his family and his cattle business. Billy, “never met a stranger”.

     In addition to his wife Linda he is survived by his children, William “Clayton” Harreld (Melissa), Nevada; Aaron Lofquest (Elizabeth), Nevada, Stephanie Otter (Corey), Deerfield, MO; two grandchildren, Brady and Braxton Otter; one brother, David Harreld (Jamie), Nevada; nephew, Dylan (Olivia) Harreld, and niece, Lauren Harreld; extended family, special friends, Kerry Gordon and Bob Twyman.   He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Marissa Harreld.

     Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Moore Cemetery in Nevada with Pastor Dylan Harreld officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 prior to the service at the graveside. Those in attendance are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and practice social distancing. Friends may call from 1-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, and from 8:00 until noon on Monday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. The casket will remain closed at the graveside.

     Memorials are suggested in his memory to the Vernon County Youth Fair c/o Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO

     

 ***At this time there is no longer a statewide limitation on the number of people attending funerals or visitations, however those in attendance will be asked to maintain social distancing, and that people are welcome to and, indeed, are encouraged to wear face mask to protect themselves and others.
