Yun Hsiang Jenny Ying

         Yun Hsiang “Jenny” Ying, 67, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her home in Nevada following a lengthy illness. Jenny was born July 14, 1954 in Zhejiang Wen Ning, China to Lan and Rmei Ying. She was united in marriage to Brad Gillmore on May 10, 2000 in Reno, NV and he survives of the home.

     Jenny was raised in Taipei, Taiwan. She came to New York City in 1989 where she lived for five years. Following her marriage to Brad, they resided in Nevada. Jenny owned and operated Quick Dine in Nevada for six years, later moving the business to Sheldon where she has operated “Jennys” for the past 15 years.  

     In addition to her husband Brad, she is survived by one son, John Ying, Overland Park, KS; one brother and one sister.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

     The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.  A private burial will be held on Thursday, July 15th in Riley Cemetery, Riley, KS. Friends may call now and until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Ferry Funeral Home.
