Yvonne C. Null

     Yvonne C. Null passed from this life suddenly on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the age of 65. She was born June 6, 1957, to Alvis and Darrell Locke in Nevada.

     Yvonne’s life was not defined by her date of birth or her date of death, but rather, by the dash in between. She lived her life to the fullest! She was united in marriage to Johnnie A. Null on October 28, 1977, in Nevada, MO and he survives of the home. At the age of 46, she accomplished her life-long dream of becoming a nurse, graduating at the top of her class. She was always willing to help others, not only in her career, but also in her personal life, and continues to do so, even in death.

     Yvonne enjoyed her family immensely. All who knew her, knew how much her grandkids meant to her, and how proud she was of them. She loved decorating cupcakes and cookies with them and taking long rides on the boat with them. She loved taking weekend trips to the lake, working in her flower beds, seashell hunting, and vacationing, especially to Tybee Island with the love of her life, and going on cruises with her childhood best friend, Karen Reitz and her husband Terry.

     Yvonne looked forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. She would start planning the Thanksgiving meal at the beginning of October and would go all out for Christmas.

     She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, Johnnie, her two girls, Jennifer and Bethany, and her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy: Aidan, Cameron, Aubry, Tyler, Desiree, Meagen, and Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Alvis Locke, and her sister, Darelyn.

    Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Dr. Eldon Shaw - Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
